Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Automotive Applications Developer Intern or recent Graduate to join our team. This role focuses on CAN Bus communications and QT SerialBus Devices in automotive software, using the Qt framework to create user interfaces and tools. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with embedded systems, Python/ C++ scripting, and CAN Bus protocols, making this a great opportunity for those passionate about hardware-software integration and automotive technology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support CAN Bus Applications Development: Assist in the development of CAN Bus communication tools using Qt, ensuring compatibility with QT SerialBus Devices.
• Hardware Interface and Integration: Work with hardware QT SerialBus Devices such as (Kvaser, Peakcan, passthrucan, …etc) to implement communication protocols and Diagnostics.
• GUI Development: Contribute to designing and developing intuitive user interfaces for automotive diagnostics, control, and monitoring using Qt’s GUI tools.
• Implement CAN Protocols: implementation of UDS protocol and GUI.
• Testing and Debugging: Participate in testing and debugging the developed applications.
• Documentation: Document code, workflows, future reference and team collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Recent graduate or master’s student in Computer Science, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Basic Knowledge of Qt Framework: Familiarity with Qt for GUI or application development is essential.
• Programming Skills: Basic understanding of C++ and Python, with an interest in embedded systems and CAN communication.
• Embedded Systems Experience: Exposure to working with Raspberry Pi, STM32, ESP32….etc and QT SerialBus Devices.
• Interest in Automotive Protocols: Curiosity about CAN Bus communication, LIN bus, FlexRay and automotive hardware/software interfacing.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical and proactive approach to identifying and solving integration challenges.
