Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is crucial for leading the infrastructure development for new programs, ensuring the effectiveness of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be a pivotal player in designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing methods, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead infrastructure requirements to meet goals for new programs.
  • Prepare essential documentation such as PFMEA, Control Plan, & SOP regarding line setup, quality, & engineering concerns.
  • Deploy stage wise process tools, material handling equipment, & End of Line testing facility.
  • Design, implement, and validate the SOP of the proposed models.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of simple to moderately complex processes and related equipment.
  • Design, develop, test, and/or source and cost-justify various tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
  • Establish effective communication with vendors to determine product specifications as per quality standards.
  • Develop, document, test, and validate process mapping techniques to visually map out workflows and processes.
  • Apply statistical methods and perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and enhanced efficiency.
  • Manage, document, and improve organization's products and implementation.
  • Cooperate actively with system owners working on vehicle development.
  • Evaluate prototype designs to verify functional requirements and define quality checks.
  • Validate iteration models, check assembly, and provide feedback to responsible Integration Engineers.
  • Prepare assembly line teams and build specifications on how to improve assembly techniques of proposed components/systems.
  • Verify the correct assembly process of parts in the assembly line using existing tools or proposing new tools.
  • Define analysis techniques including DFMEA and MA at vehicle level to validate the integration.
Requirements for the Role
  • University degree B.E or B.Tech in Electrical / Automobile / Mechanical Engineering.
  • A degree in Management and Manufacturing Engineering will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of automotive product development process and implementation of lean manufacturing principles is a must.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of automotive industry experience required.
  • Ability to multi-task with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic knowledge of CAD Software will be an added advantage.
