Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Quality to lead and enhance our quality initiatives across the company. This role is critical in ensuring our products and processes meet the highest standards, support our business goals, and foster a strong quality culture. Rather than only prioritizing experience in quality assurance, we are also looking for individuals who are enthusiastic and motivated to build processes based on the latest technological trends in software and hardware. Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve the company’s Quality Strategy to align with business goals.
- Monitor and evaluate company performance from a quality perspective.
- Create and maintain a global Quality Management System (QMS) for vehicle development, covering system, software, and hardware at all stages of the product lifecycle.
- Ensure reasonable alignment with framework and standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ASPICE, IATF 16949, ISO 26262, ISO 21434, CoP, and APQP/PPAP.
- Build and grow the Quality team to support company needs.
- Promote a strong quality culture within the company.
- Organize and deliver quality-related training across the organization.
- Support daily quality activities as a hands-on Quality Engineer when needed.
Requirements for the role:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field, focused on quality.
- At least 10 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance management.
- Proven experience in building a robust QMS in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ASPICE, IATF 16949, and APQP/PPAP.
- Experience with ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 is a big plus.
- Hands-on experience in hardware, software, or system engineering is highly valued.
- The ability to work and meet deadlines in an Agile startup environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate and work with diverse teams across locations.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
