Mechanical Design Engineer

 

• Component and Product design and development with an initial focus on full electric vehicle architecture.

• Knowledge of FEA solvers and simulation strategies.

• Reverse engineering of existing OE components/systems to determine product adaptation.

• CAD model, Assembly, and digital documentation creation.

• Perform development and project cost analysis.

• Coordinate prototype builds for new product launches.

• Resolve technical issues with respect to product performance

• Lead new component/system design projects up through hand-off to manufacturing.

• Coordinate with engineering departments to create product testing requirements.

 

 

• University degree B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.

• Minimum of 2+ years of automotive industry experience required.

• Preferred software skills: Dassault Systems products / NX Siemens.

• Knowledge of electric vehicle, battery components is must.

• MATLAB, Simulink will be added advantages.

• Should be able to work in a multicultural work environment.
